Hi Fashionistos and Fashionistas! So so sorry about the mini-hiatus but I've been busy with school. But I'm definitely going to try and do better. But anyway, I thought that I would give you some input as to what I think are 5 essential pieces that we all need in to have in our Fall wardrobe!
So first, let's start with a nice scarf. Very versatile, always chic, and at an affordable price, scarves are a must have for this season. I'd recommend one that's lightweight, in a very neutral color (black, white, navy, etc.). Also, infinity scarves are also nice. They add so much to a very simple outfit and become the focal piece when trying to stay very casual.
My second must have is the famous...blazer! Yes, we've seen them be passed down through the times. And now, they are definitely a must have for any time of the year. Again, for the fall season I recommend a neutral color. This creates more outfit options for you, which saves money. And that's always a plus.
Now, lets talk about bottoms. Personally, I'm a jeans fanatic. I love them. So for the fall season, guys and girls, a nice pair of skinny (or slim) jeans work. Nothing too loud, staying in the color range of white to darker blues and reds. This compliments the colors of the season very nicely and allows you to mix and match your colors. Yes color blocking is a great thing.
Fourth on my list are boots. Combat boots to be specific. These can always contribute to virtually any outfit, if done correctly of course. A nice black or brown boot will be a great addition. Guys, some chinos or jeans and even shorts with a tshirt and boots can take your outfit from simple to popping! And ladies, experiment with dresses and skirts to give yourself a more tough, edgy look.
And lastly, the fifth and finale fall essential is the cardigan. It's lightweight and can virtually go with everything. Nothing neon or extremely bright. Just something in a fall color meaning darker or more airy colors.
So yeah, these are my top 5 essential items I feel you need in your fall wardrobe! Hope this helps someone. If you feel like contacting me, follow me in twitter, add me on google+, or leave a comment below.
